Versatile uses of tents

Tents have been used for many centuries and in all parts of the world. Cotton (canvas) was the material used for tents but now nylon, polyester are used to produce light weight tents. Earlier nomads used it for shelter; but now tents are there for recreational and outdoor purposes. For camping and biking, backpacking trips, people generally carry a tent so that they can spend the night anywhere. These are basic, simple tents which a person can use only for sleeping. Dome shaped, tunnel shaped ones are most commonly used now days.

A pop up tent is the best choice for a backpacker. They are very light in weight and so compact in designed that they can be packed along with the luggage. Installing this tent is also a minute’s job and some require to be flung in the air only. This tent self installs itself and even a kid can manage it. Ropes, poles, connectors are not required for this pop up tent. These tents are not only meant for outdoor use, but indoors too. This self erecting tent can save a lot of time, as traditional tents took so long to assemble. Pop up tents are mostly smaller tents, suitable for two or maximum four people. These are also made of water proof materials.
